Grounds Policies

No Alcohol

Parents and supporters are not to bring alcohol to any field while playing and training is taking place. It is the responsibility of Coaches and Managers to ensure that alcohol is not consumed on the training and playing environments.

No Smoking

Players and supporters are reminded that Marist College grounds and playing fields are NO-SMOKING areas. Any occurrence of this during the season should be reported to the Marist JLAC representative.

No Dogs at Sporting Fields

Dogs are not allowed at sporting fields. Section 42 (3) of the Domestic Animals Act 2000 (ACT) states that "a person must not take a dog onto a field or playing area where sport is being played or training for sport is being conducted". This does not include an assistance animal that is with a person with a disablilty. If dog owners refuse to leave, Domestic Animal Services can be contacted via Canberra Connect on 13 22 81.
