Coaches' and Managers' Manual 2016

Marist Canberra Football Club cannot function without the continuing assistance of volunteers to take on the roles of Coach or Manager. If you would like to coach or manage a team, please register as a Volunteer on myfootballclub.com.au, and your details will be forwarded to us. For further information contact Jim Mennie, our Coaching Director, at our Contact address.

Capital Football generally schedules a series of FFA Community Coaching Courses during May, June and July. The Junior Football Licence Course is for those coaches who require the knowledge and competency to organise junior players into suitable practices. There is also a Goalkeeping Licence, seeing and experiencing ‘model’ goalkeeper technical sessions. And a Youth Certificate 1 is aimed at coaches of players aged 12–15 years of age. The club will reimburse the cost of the course if you coach a Marist Football team. For more details, please see the Capital Football website.
